Cloud Infrastructure
Cloud infrastructure
The right home for every workload
Moving to the cloud isn’t one decision. Some systems belong in public cloud, some are better hosted privately, and some should stay where they are for now. We help you decide what goes where, compare the providers and partners, and keep the bills under control once you’ve moved.

Your options
Four ways to run your infrastructure
Public cloud
Pay for what you use on AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud, and scale up or down in minutes.
Private and hosted
Dedicated infrastructure in a UK data centre, for systems that need predictable performance or tighter control.
Hybrid
A mix of both, connected securely, so each workload runs where it makes most sense.
Backup and recovery
Offsite, immutable backups and a tested recovery plan, so an outage or attack doesn’t become a disaster.
The journey
Assess, plan, migrate, optimise
1. Assess
We map your systems, costs, risks and dependencies, and what each workload really needs.
2. Plan
Workloads grouped by where they should run and in what order, with costs forecast before you commit.
3. Migrate
Providers and partners compared and contracted, and moves scheduled to avoid disruption.
4. Optimise
Right-sizing, reserved capacity and marketplace buying to keep the monthly bill in check.
Already committed to AWS, Microsoft or Google?
If you have a committed spend agreement, you can often buy other software through the provider’s marketplace and have it count toward that commitment. It’s one of the quickest ways to stop paying for cloud capacity you never use.
What it costs
Our advice costs you nothing. When you buy through us, the supplier pays us a fee, on the same basis for every supplier we shortlist, so no one can pay for a better recommendation. If the right answer is to stay where you are, we’ll tell you.
Why Quetzel
Our team has worked inside cloud providers, MSPs and systems integrators. We know how cloud contracts and partner programmes work, where costs creep in after migration and how to avoid being locked into one provider.
Questions we’re often asked
Should everything move to the cloud?
Not necessarily. Some systems cost less or run better where they are. We help you decide workload by workload.
Which is best: AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud?
It depends on what you run, the skills you have and the deals available. We compare them for your workloads rather than picking a favourite.
How do we stop cloud bills creeping up?
Right-sizing, reserved or committed capacity, switching off what isn’t used and buying through marketplaces where it counts toward your commitment.
Do you do the migration yourselves?
We source and manage the right partner for the work and stay involved on your side through to completion.
Do you favour any provider?
No. Every shortlisted supplier pays us on the same basis, and our advice is free to you.
Where will our data be held?
We make UK or EU data residency a requirement where you need it, and check it in the contract.
