Business Connectivity
Business connectivity
Every site, every home worker, every cloud app, connected properly
Slow or unreliable internet costs more than the line rental. We compare broadband, leased lines, SD-WAN and mobile backup across the market, so each site gets the connection it needs and nothing it doesn’t.
Your options
Choosing the right connection
There’s no single right answer. Most businesses use a mix, matched to what each site does. Here’s how the main options compare in general; we’ll price them for your addresses.
| Option | Best for | Speed and consistency | Reliability | Affordability |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Full fibre broadband | Offices and shops with everyday needs | ●●●●● | ●●●●● | ●●●●● |
| Leased line | Head offices and busy sites that can’t go down | ●●●●● | ●●●●● | ●●●●● |
| SD-WAN | Several sites and cloud apps, managed as one network | ●●●●● | ●●●●● | ●●●●● |
| 4G / 5G backup | Keeping a site online if the main line fails | ●●●●● | ●●●●● | ●●●●● |
More dots on cost means better value. General guide only; availability and pricing depend on each address.
How it fits together
One network, every location
With the right design, your head office, branches, stores, contact centre, home workers and cloud apps behave like one network: each site gets the connection it needs, calls get priority and a backup takes over if a line fails.
We design it, compare the providers, negotiate the contracts and manage the install dates so sites go live on time.
What each team gets
One view of every line
Every site, circuit and contract in one place, with one number to call when something breaks.
Sites that keep trading
A backup connection takes over automatically, so a cut cable doesn’t close a store or stop a warehouse.
Clear calls, every time
Voice and contact centre traffic get priority, so customers aren’t met with choppy audio or dropped calls.
Fewer surprises on the bill
Contracts compared across providers and lined up to end together, so you can renegotiate on your terms.
How we work
From survey to switched on
Survey
Every address checked for what’s available and what each site really needs.
Design
Primary and backup connections chosen per site, with SD-WAN where it helps.
Compare and negotiate
Providers compared like for like, with install dates and service levels agreed up front.
Install and manage
Orders tracked site by site, and one point of contact once you’re live.
What it costs
Our advice costs you nothing. When you buy through us, the supplier pays us a fee, on the same basis for every supplier we shortlist, so no one can pay for a better recommendation. If the right answer is to stay where you are, we’ll tell you.
Why Quetzel
We’ve worked inside carriers, MSPs and systems integrators, so we know which providers really serve which areas, how install lead times work and which contract terms to push back on.
Questions we’re often asked
What’s the difference between broadband and a leased line?
Broadband is shared with other users and speeds can vary. A leased line is dedicated to you, with the same upload and download speed and a guaranteed fix time.
How long does a leased line take to install?
It varies by address and whether new cabling is needed. We check early and plan around realistic dates.
Do we need SD-WAN?
If you have several sites or rely heavily on cloud apps, it’s worth looking at. For a single office, good broadband with backup is often enough.
Can you help with Wi-Fi and cabling inside the office?
Yes. We can source the network kit, Wi-Fi and cabling as part of the same project.
Do you favour any provider?
No. We compare across the market and every shortlisted supplier pays us on the same basis.
